Privacy Policy
Your devices. Your choices.
This policy covers the AgentDock apps for Mac and iPhone, the product website at agentdock.jsonhelper.cn, and downloads at download.agentdock.jsonhelper.cn. It distinguishes local device features, information you choose to send, and services provided by Apple and Cloudflare.
Between your devices
App controls and session status travel over Bluetooth between your paired Mac and iPhone.
What you choose to send
You edit and send feedback email. Full logs are not attached automatically.
Website and beta distribution
Visits, downloads, update checks, and TestFlight use involve processing by their service providers.
1. Connection and app controls
AgentDock uses Bluetooth to discover nearby devices and pair them. Discovery and connection process device names, Bluetooth identifiers, device types, and pairing identities. Private device keys and trusted-device records are stored in the local Keychain; iCloud synchronization is disabled for these Keychain items.
To display and control apps you allow, the Mac reads app names, identifiers, icons, running status, and available badges. Window menus read window titles, focus, minimized and Full Screen states, plus display names, identifiers, and relative positions. This information and your control commands travel over the paired connection. Specific window actions require Accessibility permission on the Mac.
This information may include names of documents or projects you are working on. The current version does not relay app, window, or session content through an AgentDock cloud service.
2. Codex CLI reminders
When you enable Codex notifications on the Mac, AgentDock installs its notify / hook integration. It receives local session and turn identifiers, event types, timestamps, and the project name from the final component of the working directory. It also queries Codex’s local index, read-only, for relevant session titles and parent–child relationships. This integration does not read conversation transcript files or write full prompts or full working-directory paths into its reminder events.
Session titles, project names, latest states, and timestamps are cached locally and sent to the paired iPhone for reminders. Disabling Codex notifications removes AgentDock’s integration; it does not delete Codex’s own sessions or files. Codex’s online services and data handling remain subject to its provider’s policies.
3. Local settings and records
The apps save settings and records needed to operate, such as paired devices, connection history, app order, next-launch display preferences, session states, and records of sessions you have hidden. The iPhone also reads its battery and charging state for the Dock display, keep-awake behavior, and automatic scanning policy.
The apps may record connection states, action results, and errors locally or in system logs to help diagnose problems. If you choose to export or send diagnostic material, check it first for device identifiers, window or session names, and other information you do not want to share.
4. Feedback email
Send Feedback opens an email with the AgentDock version, build number, and system version prefilled. You can edit or cancel it. If you send it, we receive your email address, message, and any attachments you add, to respond and handle your feedback. Your chosen email provider and the receiving provider also process the email.
5. Website, downloads, and update checks
Cloudflare hosts the website and downloads. Page visits, downloads, and Mac update checks create network requests. Cloudflare processes IP addresses and request/network information for delivery and security. The website also uses Cloudflare Web Analytics for page-visit and loading-performance data.
The download gateway generates a rate-limit identifier from the public IP and stores download-attempt timestamps to enforce its 10-minute and 24-hour limits. Cloudflare’s network processes the original IP. Expired quota timestamps are pruned on later requests.
Devices, windows, and sessions in the website preview are examples. Preview actions change only the current page’s memory; they do not control your Mac or save to browser storage.
6. Apple TestFlight
When you test through TestFlight, Apple automatically collects and shares crash and usage information with the developer, such as device, OS, build, and usage details. Test feedback and screenshots you submit are also shared. Whether your name or email is visible depends on the invitation method. We use these materials to diagnose issues and improve AgentDock; see Apple’s notice for details.
7. Your controls and retention
You can revoke Bluetooth or Accessibility permission in system settings, remove paired devices, change allowed apps, disable the Codex integration, or delete ended sessions from Recent Status in AgentDock. Session deletion affects AgentDock’s display and records, not Codex. Removing a pairing on one device does not automatically clear the other device’s records.
Local settings and caches remain as needed until updated, cleared, or removed by you. The lifecycle of system backups and Keychain items also depends on the system and your actions; uninstalling does not mean every record immediately disappears. Feedback and beta diagnostics are retained as needed to handle issues, maintain the service, and meet applicable requirements. Apple, Cloudflare, and email providers handle information they hold under their own policies, potentially in other countries or regions.
8. Contact and policy updates
For questions about this policy, or to request access, correction, or deletion of information we received, such as your feedback, contact us by email. We may need enough information to identify the relevant records. Do not send pairing keys or unrelated sensitive information.
We will update this page and its date when features or services change.
